Public Works wants your input! The Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) division has a project to design and build photovoltaic (solar panels) systems at five City facilities: Blackberry Farm Recreation and Pool facility, Community Hall, Cupertino Library, Quinlan Community Center, and Cupertino Sports Center. The savings in utility costs are projected to be $500,000 annually, and $26.5 million over a 30-year lifespan. We’re looking for community input on the implementation of the conceptual designs for each of the sites. (In-person only, but emails or letters are welcome.)
