Stevens Creek Boulevard Road Work

Beginning Wednesday, October 8th and ending Thursday, October 9th Stevens Creek Boulevard from Highway 85 to Foothill Boulevard will be receiving a rubber chip seal pavement treatment. Work hours for the project are 9 am to 3 pm. Traffic on Stevens Creek Boulevard, especially from Highway 85 to Bubb Road, will be impacted. Two way traffic will continuously be maintained, but some turning movements will be restricted. Vehicles will be temporarily stopped during the chip operation for up to two to three minutes. Rigorous traffic control, including sheriff deputies at the signalized intersections will occur. Work will then resume again when a slurry coat is applied on Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th. Work hours for the slurry project are 7am to 5pm. For this work, traffic will again be impacted with similar traffic control in place. Typically, slurried surfaces can be crossed within five minutes. Final striping work will occur about one week after the slurry.
